Come check out these books, and others related to Christmas food and crafting. Virtual bedtime stories continue at 7 p.m. on Thursdays. Kids’ Minecraft will be featured at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, and a special winter break Lego Club will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 29. The library will be closed Dec. 23 to 25 and again on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 for the holidays. Continue to watch the library’s website for news on WCPL’s upcoming winter reading program.”

Parents may bring their little ones in on Fridays for preschool story hour. It begins at 10 a.m. in the children’s room. Along with listening to a story, children also create a craft related to the chosen story or stories that are read.
The library also has Book Buddies kits. They are a collection of books, games, puppets and toys all grouped around a theme. Each kit contains various items that children can manipulate and move to encourage their imagination and learning development.
Book Buddies kits are appropriate for children ages 3 and older. They can be checked out for up to one week. BMPL has 24 kits total. (Each with a different theme.)”
